I can't wait to show you what it's like to be a KS Bride or #KatieSchubertSenior !

We looked out the window on Sunday morning, and saw tornado-like wind gusts and down pouring rain. I prayed and prayed for at least a short break of dry weather for Jess and Ryan so I could get some portraits outside with them. After all they went through to make this day happen, they deserved it. A change in date, venue, and pretty much their entire vision for their wedding… they are AMAZING for how well they handled everything.

One hour before we left to meet them, the skies turned from gray to completely blue and the sun came out. We couldn’t believe it, but I let out a huge sigh of relief! Our wet, windy Sunday morphed into the most perfect day.

We were all over Milwaukee, starting with Jess in the morning and then meeting Ryan in the Third Ward for their beautiful First Look. We left for the church in New Berlin, and then made our way back to Milwaukee for their intimate, candle-lit dinner at Braise. Since it wasn’t a full reception, there was no DJ or dancing, but Jess decided to surprise her new husband with some live music so they could celebrate their day with an official first dance. It was so special and romantic! Their small reception was just perfect.

Jess & Ryan, you two are so special to us and we are SO happy for you! Congratulations, newlyweds!

Enjoy a handful of my favorites from their day!
