You deserve an amazing experience

I can't wait to show you what it's like to be a KS Bride or #KatieSchubertSenior !

There is an intense feeling of honor when it comes to photographing a wedding for another vendor in the wedding industry. Especially when it’s another photographer. I’ve always said that if I was getting married AFTER I became a wedding photographer, I would have such a hard time with hiring someone else and not being hyper-aware of all things photography-related on the wedding day. That’s exactly why I wanted to bring my A-Game, so that Caitlin could sit back and relax knowing she would be taken care of.

That also brings a feeling of intense PRESSURE! Caitlin is so talented herself and is a veteran in the industry. As soon as she reached out, I knew this day was going to be something special, and I’d need to document it that way, too. Phew, I was nervous!

But as soon as we started and gave Caitlin & Philip the biggest hugs, the nervousness disappeared. They are so incredibly kind and thoughtful. All throughout the day, they were checking in and making sure I had what I needed, and it was such a blessing. They decided to have an intimate wedding day with no bridal party. They celebrated with just their closest family members, which gave them the opportunity to spoil them all throughout the day. The details and thought that went into everything was a testament to how much they cherish their families and each other.

If you remember their engagement session, you know it was a favorite of mine! We even had her pup, Porter with us for a short time! He is so cute, and although he wasn’t with us on the wedding day, we had the BEST time around the capitol building, and the absolutely stunning Overture Center. They picked some of the most gorgeous portrait spots and I’m so, so thrilled with how everything turned out.

Caitlin and Philip, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I hope you had the absolute BEST day, and I’m so excited to share some of my favorites. Enjoy!!
