Whenever I see Rachel, I’m still brought back to our Stella & Chewy’s days where we sat five feet from each other every day for years. She was one of my first ‘hello’s’ every morning, and my last goodbye as we packed up to leave. She started as my coworker, partnering on fun projects, playing with puppies, and having the best time with the rest of our team. But she quickly became a very good friend. And now, I’m blessed to say that because of that friendship, I had the honor of documenting one of her biggest moments in hers and Andy’s lives.
Rachel and Andy own the most charming tudor cottage in Milwaukee. They share it with their two pups, Reggie and Bernie. It was fitting to start the day there, in their home, filled with family all getting ready.
Their ceremony and reception took place at Hubbard Park Lodge. You have to enter the park through a long tunnel, which immediately peaks your interest in this venue. On the other side is a beautiful park that sits on the Milwaukee River. Their ceremony took place on the water’s edge, and the reception that followed was in a charming, rustic lodge nestled in the tall trees of the park. It all felt so right for Andy and Rachel.
Speaking of right, Andy and Rachel couldn’t be a more perfect fit for each other. Together, they have a relaxed, calm, and fun energy. Their wedding day was a perfect representation of that energy; it flowed effortlessly and beautifully. I’m so happy we could be there to not only watch them become husband & wife, but play such a special role in capturing the memories of the day.
Rachel and Andy, congratulations! I couldn’t be more excited for you to be married! AND to see some of my very favorite moments of your gorgeous day! I know you’re on your honeymoon, but I hope you enjoy scrolling through your wedding day from my point of view!
