I walked the groom over to the First Look location, just as I do every wedding. Only this time, AJ had tears rolling down his eyes and was taking deep breaths in anticipation of seeing Kallie before I even left to bring her to him. He was so excited; he loves her so much.
The venue was a historic warehouse on the outskirts of Madison. The Lagaret is full of charm and history, and you can’t leave one room without entering another that’s even more interesting. Guests were take upstairs to the ceremony site for Kallie and AJ’s I do’s, followed by dinner. Then, we setup back downstairs for cocktails and dancing. It was like being in multiple places throughout the day, only we never had to leave the property!
I’ve heard that Lilac is this year’s newest “it color” for fall, so I’m excited that Kallie chose it! It’s a perfect, light & airy compliment to the deep shades of burgundy and greenery she chose. The details were beautiful, the dress was perfect, and it all came together in the most gorgeous way.
As we got closer to the reception, I could sense this was going to be a crowd that was full of energy. And I was right! I think my ears are still ringing from the cheers and encouragement from their friends! Wow! AJ and Kallie have some incredibly supportive and loving people in their life, and rightfully so. We’re ALL so excited for their marriage and I’m so happy I could be there on their big day! Congratulations, you two! I’m also cheering for you!
