Mary walked Scott into the Bridal Suite, covering his eyes. We didn’t want him to see the bride (and also his beautiful daughter) until the perfect moment.
She tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around, and he looked at her. He smiled, and then he cried, and then he smiled some more. This was a beautiful moment regardless if you knew Scott and that there was a time last year where they weren’t sure if he would make it to see this day. A dad seeing his daughter for the first time on her wedding day is so special, and they enjoyed this moment to the fullest.
Anna & Ryan have been together for just under a decade. They’re high school sweethearts, so they’ve spent a good part of their lives together. Friends told us about how they met, and we watched slide shows of them as teenagers. On Saturday, they officially became husband and wife, and get to continue their journey of making the BEST memories together.
With an abundance of sunshine, wind, and laughter, the day was beautiful. Rosewood was the most perfect garden setting, filled with trees that were a pretty shade of green and winding pathways leading to the most charming spots for portraits. The outdoor patio is just as amazing and a perfect setting for guests to enjoy a drink and good company. We loved every minute of it, and we are so excited for these two. Congratulations, Anna & Ryan!!
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention… Ryan got a pretty nice surprise wedding gift from Anna, which I think you’ll notice about half way down this post. And if you don’t notice, IT’S A NEW TRUCK! I think he had one of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen on a groom! 🙂 Good work, Anna!!
