It’s finally here!!! The new, rebranded, home of Katie Schubert!
It feels so refreshing to have a space that perfectly represents me, my brand, and how I serve my clients.
If you know me well, you know that I’m a huge fan of good branding. What I didn’t realize until I undertook the task of creating a brand for myself is just how challenging it is!
There are a million different things to consider:
- Website (images, colors, the personality behind it, functionality, etc.)
- Social media channels
Just to name a few. But it is so crucial to have that synergistic, cohesive feel that really tells my story so that I can connect with my couples.
Over the past year, I’ve had a few different looks, but they were not not well-rounded or thought out. There was no big picture. And it never really screamed “Katie Schubert”. But what I’ve learned is that a brand is way more than just the look, and there is so much thought & energy that goes into creating it!
I knew I wanted my brand to be fun & approachable, and also match my photography style: clean, classic and joyful. It needed to connect with me and my style so that I could reach others that want the same thing: a bit of that easy coast style meets J. Crew fun meets Vogue elegance.
If you haven’t already, grab yourself a latte and take a look around! There are fun, charming elements around every corner! Here are a few of the highlights:
The home page is clean, welcoming, and easy to navigate. This is the first thing people see when they visit my site, so this is the page that probably took the longest for me to complete! I love the colors, and the way that Katie Schubert stands out at the top!
The ‘About Me’ page is not just a place to get lost in my photography journey, it’s a light-hearted, fun destination to learn a little more about me, my latte obsession, secret talents, etc. It’s a place to connect with future brides in a warm fun way! There’s a spot dedicated to the KS Team to learn a little more about Adam (and Wesley, of course!). As well as some of my favorite things!
The ‘For Brides’ place was designed in a very specific way. I wanted it to be a journey, which starts with a warm welcome, my philosophy and approach to weddings, then down to the galleries so visitors can get a glimpse of my work and previous KS Brides, and then my entire process.
This is so important, because before learning anything about the investment, potential brides get the chance to see exactly what the KS Experience includes and why it’s so special.
I hope you enjoy the new KS home!!
